The welcome screen is the page a tester sees before they start the session. This is where we let the tester know what he can expect and introduce Anna.

Title and Copy

The welcome screen should confirm to the user, that (s)he landed on the right site. Give a very short overview of what the tester can expect in this session. Try to avoid the words Test and User Test, even when users know the term, some have a negative experience with the word test. We like the term session.

Duration

Give the user a reasonable assumption, of how long the session will take. Run the test with a team member if you are not sure how long it will take. Keep in mind, that the setup and upload time is included in the estimate and is always longer than the recorded time. You are usually save if you add 5 minutes to the recording time.

Video of Anna

The introduction of Anna on the Welcome screen can not be changed.
